SOURCE: oil drain plug

Hi
It is located on the right side just under the oil tank ; if you follow the rudder hose that exits the rear right side of your oil tank it leads to the bottom of the frame under this is the oil plug. This hose has a plug clamped to the end of it or stuck into a prug that is welded to the frame.
After this unclamp and pull the plug to make sure that you have the dipstick out before pulling it loose.

Please do rate the solution as "FixYa" if found useful and revert for further assistance.
Thanks Rylee

SOURCE: left turn signal an speedometer

There was a recall on the speedometers about 2004.
Some were defective and just quit working. H-D replaced them for free. Not sure about your year/model, but I would contact a dealer or area service rep to see if it falls under the guidelines.

2006 Harley Davidson XL 1200 CEL and battery light comes on @

Hi, Dave for this scenario you will need your service manual that has all fastener torque specs and a wiring diagram on the back pages, parts fiche, and owners manual if you can not find the best tool you ever bought for your Harley, despair not, for a mere zero $0 you can download another one.

2006 Harley Davidson FXDWG Dyna Wide Glide no electrical power @

Hi, Bruce, this is the sort of electrical problem that is probably mechanical. In other words, a complete failure like this suggests there is a break in the wiring or a blown fuse. If nothing on the bike is working, but the battery is fully charged, there are not many parts of the bike that can cause that lack of power. I can only recommend starting at the battery and working your way along with the wiring, checking every connection, including the ignition switch. There is probably a broken connection or failed electrical part that should be obvious when you come across it.

The engine light comes on after start up then about 3 sec. goes off and the bike runs good and doesn't come back until start up, any ideas?

Normal computer diagnostics on ignition verify engine operations. Causes include loose wiring and electrical components. Battery and normal maintenance is a conclusion for some.
