Have a 1996 Honda Accord 4-cylinders with automatic transmission. When driving the enging will just stall without warning. One could be accelerating aroun 50 mph. Only thing consistent is the speed usually around 50 to 60 mph. Sometimes it will stall 4 times and within a mile or sometimes drives all the way to work without stalling while other days it may stall 4 times within 10 miles. Has not stalled at lower speeds such as 40 and below mph. Thanks

YOU CAN TEST IT WITH A OHM"s meter or a multi meter one is your ground wire the other two send the signal to your computer.what you are looking for is when you rotate the throttle do it as slow as possible and as steady. If the reading jumps alot when you slowly rotate the throttle then it is a bad tps.let me know what the outcome is.Thank you for using fixya

Try the crankshaft position sensor. I had the same problem with mine. Hope this helps.

Try changing the fuel filter. I think it's starving for gas and the transmission can't decide what to do.

sounds like a cv joint to me. That is what usually occurs when one is showing wear. C.V joints usually wear out between 80,000 and 120,000 k.m.

The first thing to have checked is the wheel balance, if they are good then you need the brake system and wheel bearings checked. Please let me know if this does not help as there are a few more specific problems that could cause vibration.
