Termostat how to repair

One rad hose goes to the water pump the other goes to the thermostat on top of the motor. undo the hose clamp and take off the hose that goes to the thermo . DO THIS WHEN THE VEHICLE IS COLD. have a small container handy to catch any coolant that may leak out. be sure to keep the hose up so coolant doesnt leak all over the ground.Once you take off the hose the thermostat should be right there. 2 bolts to take it out. fairly simple actually. replace with the new one and put hose back on. replace any coolant that might have leaked into your container.
