2001 chevy suburban passenger side tail light and passenger isde license plate light will not work. I chenged the bulbs and tested them. They are good. The brake light, turn signal and back up lights work fine, just the tail light does not?

check bulb the number plate light runs on the same circuit as the side lights so if they are working its got to be a bad earth on the plate light

The tail light fuse is under the rear seat on the drivers side.

if you have tail lights but no number plate light ,then problem is in the bulb holder or wiring

The license plate lights have their own separate bulbs. If you are able to replace the bulbs, that may solve your problem. If not, you may have a loose or rusted connection to the plate bulbs only. have it tested at autozone ,,it will read your wires for a possible short ..they will read it free

They are on the same fuse as the parking lights. If they work, start looking for bad wiring, or corroded sockets

change the bulb in the tail light. And check your fuses for the license plate.
