The Battery does not seem to charge so I want to remove it and see if it will charge if connected to an external charger. How do I remove the said batteries?

Remove the batteries .. Every Chair is different .. but if the batteries aren't charging it's probably that they were left uncharged for a time and they dropped down enough that the charger dosn't recognize them .. If they drop down below around 6 volts the charger won't charge them ... I have taken batteries out and charged them individualy with a car charger .. but they never come back .. at best half life.

I keep getting the message "connecting to computer" on Samgsung SH100

Disconnect the camera, remove the battery and after a few moments reinsert the battery. Then switch on again.
When you charge the battery in the camera, the camera could think it is connected to a PC, because the USB cable is inserted. It could be you are using a USB cable, that not came with the camera. If the error keeps coming back buy an external (Universal) charger, to charge your battery. Modern universal charges can charge almost every camera battery on the market. In the long run, it is better for the camera and for the battery, when you charge in an external charger.
Keep the contacts clean with a dry cloth.

Any idea where I get a replacement charger for a Metz60CT4

EBay, if that's what you want. The metz "chargers" are just 7 volt ac transformers - they supply 7 volts to the battery pack which has the actual charging circuit in it. I haven't pulled one apart yet, but I'm guessing they're very rudimentary chargers. Depending on what you're using for a battery you might want to use a modern external smart charger. I use $20 AGM batteries from batteries plus (instead of the $80 metz batteries) and use an external charger from WallMart on them. It's quick, lets me see the current charge state, won't overcharge the battery, and works on my car and boat batteries too.

My env2 wont charge. whenever i plug it in, the battery stays the same. what do i do?

This seems to be a common problem for the env2. If you hold your charger a certain way in the phone does it charger? Is the charger port broken or damaged?

If so the easiest workaround is to get an external battery charger and extra battery to charge the phone.

Check out the following link for information on the battery charger and other options for the env2 charge issue.

Battery Charger Olympus li-40c

I had this problem a few weeks ago (i.e. flashing red LED). All I did was remove the power plug from the charging unit, turned it around 180 degrees, then plugged it back into the charging unit. Red LED came on steady & the battery (which is the one that came with the camera) recharged as normal.
