I have a suzuki swift (Japanese), 2009 Model, auto gear car. A warning lamp (yellow/Orange colour) always indicates a warning. It never go off when I am driving the Car. This lamp is in the gear position indicating area of the meter board. The picture is a gear wheel and an exclamation mark (!) in the middle of that. Can any one tell me what is that lamp indicates. Is it indicate some problem in the gear box? Thank you

The EPS, (Electric Power Steering), light is a warning that there is a possible problem with your power steering system. Get a good mechanic to check the whole system as it could be a mechanical or electrical source to the problem.

is it full of ATF fluid per manual.

welcome to a USA forum where we dont have 09 swifts, nor any books on it.at all.

the tranny is sick if fluid levels are full, and clean and filter clean.
get it serviced.

what that means ,stated clearly in the oper guide too, is get it serviced.
if you have a full DIY shop, then scan it.
or get it scanned.
in all cases, scan it.

This symbol is for the transmission. You should have the codes read

if this is a manual transmission it should take 80-90 weight gear oil,the same as in the differential.if its an automatic trans then us the manufactures required oil as with auto trans oil they have different additives that if the wrong one is put in it can cause problems.

here is our last swift, sold USA.,(not a m13 for sure)

wht/blk, = ign. on. power 12v
white = memory , hot all time to battery via fuse, station memory
black = ground
red-green = illumination
red-yell = park lamps on, lighting,.
and below is speaker.

this is year 2000 last car sold here,

bhai jaan, this ! mark in a semi circle is the tire pressure indicator.
u just have to inflate the tires to proper pressures and the light will go out.

first check groud termenal &change it if it seems in bad condition. then check batrry &charg it or replace if still not good.after starting engine check charging from genarator if its bad or no charge fix genarator
