There is a flasher in this.you don`t say what year and model of truck this is so if you turn on the hazard flashers and find its location, the turn signal flasher looks like the hazards but is a different one.the signal flasher will usually be in the same area so this should help you find it,it will be under the dash somewhere or on the fuse box either front or rear of the fuse box.

2005 Dodge Durango SLT. Trying to locate turn signal flasher to fix hyper flash after upgrading to LED turn signals.

LED replacement bulbs are nothing but trouble on a vehicle that didn't have them as OEM equipment. In most 'modern' cars, the flashers are controlled by a signal from the Body Control Module or Combined Power Modules via a relay. You need an auto electrician or if the Parts Store sold you the LED bulbs and flasher relay, go back and ask them to sell you the right items to make it flash correctly.

I have a 2001 dodge dakota all lights and turn signals work great, the problem is my four ways will not work.changed out the combination flasher but still no four ways

If the actuator switch is under the four way flasher button may be faulty and it may just be the switch in the fuse box or under the hood in a fuse able link. Also check to make sure the combo flasher that the auto parts sold you is the right one . My friend went to parts store to get an oil change and filter , went home dropped the oil , pulled old filter to find new filter was WRONG ONE! What now ??? Am I to use the old filter?? I said NO call the parts store and make them bring you the right filter After all you paid them for the oil and new filter its not your fault they gave you the wrong filter its the parts counter Clerk not doing their JOB and therefore they should bring you the right one. That"s what delivery people R for. I have had the problem of wrong plugs and wires and damned if I'm making another 40 mile one way trip to town and back

Turn on the car then click the signal light and nothing!!! no tic to light nothing could it be the signal light switch or a fuse?? please help!!

Try the flasher unit first, checking it costs nothing. Turn on your emergency flashers and if they work, get your owners manual and find the fuse panel locations. Inside the manual or the panel cover there will be a legend as to what is what. You will have two flasher units, one for turn signals and the other emergency flashers. They are the same units so just switch them, if your turn signals now work, but your flashers don't, then you have a bad flasher unit. Go buy another at any auto parts store and put it in the correct socket, you rarely use the emergency flashers so you want your new one in the turn signal circuit.

If that does not do it then you may have a broken switch which requires pulling the steering wheel off to fix. That is not an owner service thing. One bad light bulb is not going to knock them all out.

1996 PLYMOUTH VOYAGER, TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS DON'T WORK FUSES ARE OK, WAT'S WRONG

Hello. If the turn signals don't work left or right the flasher has gone bad. It is easy to replace as it just plugs in under the dash. Go to any auto parts store and buy a new flasher and ask the clerk to assist you in plugging it in. J.

Signal lights dont work when breaking

No,this is not normal, this normal when the emergency flashers are on,but not the turn signals.Check the bulbs(all of them)in the rear tail light assembleys. If you can not tell which bulbs are bad, replace them all.Does this vehicle have a trailer light plug?If it does,it could be in it.After the bulb replacement(look at bulbs in your hand to see if filiments are burned)replace the turn signal flasher. To find it turn key on,and left or right turn signal on,and listen, and feel for it under dash around the steering column.

I need a fuse panel diagram to replace the turn signal flasher. Thanks

Before replacing the flasher does the hazards work, Try wiggling the turn signal lever up and down and back and forth with the key on and the lever in each position. If the blinkers or hazards start flashing you'l need a multifuntion switch. This isnt a definative test if you get nothing you may have a blown fuse. As fas as the flasher goes, go buy one and then you will know what it looks like.

No tail lights or turn signal, just running lights and flashers

I had the same problem about a month ago myself. I had to replace a fuse which was under the driver side under the dash it cost me $6 to replace. I cant remember the name of the part but call a auto store and explain to them the problem. I think it was called a relay fuse or something! Good luck with that!
