The tricycle back wheels won't turn easily. It is almost as if a brake of some sort is being used when my son tries to peddle. There isn't anything rubbing against it on the outside (the fenders or spokes). It is his favorite toy, please help. Thank you!

You have a better chance of diagnosing the problem than we do. Eyeball and listen to it. Something is rubbing somewhere or bearings have frozen. Do both wheels drag?

Smartrike front wheel won't turn with pedals once on the ground

Old question but I just needed the answer and figured it out. On one side of the wheel there is a disc with two arrows, line this arrows up with the arrows on the wheel and push the disc into the wheel until it clicks into place. Pull it out to convert back to a stroller.

Stuck eldorado key in DTS ignition now car won't start

Make sure your steering wheel isn't locked. Sometimes a key won't turn until you jiggle the wheel while trying to turn the key.

How do I adjust the brakes, I tired tightening the bolts, to no avail

most likely that's because the brakes have become more worn. adjusting the knob on the handbar won't help at all. what you need to do is to flip the bike upside down. then take a wrench/ratchet to the brakes themselves right over the tire. just loosen the small nut holding them in place, and bring the brake pads in closer to the rim. be careful that they aren't touching the rim however by turning each wheel after the adjustments. after you're finished, you can peddle the bike in that upside down position using your hand, and then test the brakes by pulling the brake levers.
i hope this has been of some assistance. have a good evening.

Girls skeleanimal bike brake is stuck so back wheel won't move

It's a Huffy. 'Nuff said.

Manuals here - http://www.huffy.com/Support/OwnersManuals.aspx

If the cable isn't passing freely inside the cable housing it won't relax brake pressure when the lever is released.

Brakes pulsate when you put them on. When I take off from a complete stop it feels like the brakes are not releasing immediately.

Pulsating brakes are often caused by warped brake rotors. In order to check for a brake that isn't releasing I would suggest lifting one wheel at a time, applying the brakes and immediately checking if that wheel turns freely. Repeat on all 4 wheels. If you find one that isn't turning freely you'll have to address the problem with that brake.

Son's can pedal 12" bike

Yes, something isn't turning freely. It's either the front wheel, the back wheel, or the pedals and chain. Lift the bike off the ground and turn the front wheel by hand. If it doesn't turn very freely, it could be the hand-brake is dragging or the hub bearing is too tight. Try the back wheel in both directions. It should move freely in the forward direction. When rolling it backwards it is normal for the pedals to move too if this bike has a coaster brake (that is the kind of brake that is applied by pushing the pedals backwards.) It the back wheel moves forward freely, but backwards is a problem, then try the pedals by hand with the rear wheel off the ground. If this doesn't turn freely, the pedal crank bearing (a.k.a. bottom bracket) is too tight. Once you have identified the problem take it back to where you got it. It should be easy to fix, or they should replace it.
