How much gear oil does it take
The engine, with filter change, is reputed to hold 3.6 (u.s.) quarts. Add 3.5 and check the level - it's probably between the marks. DO NOT OVERFILL, run it a little low of full if you're not patient enough to recheck the level after you've dribbled a few drops in.

bike clutches are in oil and they are prone to sticking and not releasing the clutch plates if the oil is dirty or of incorrect specification
How to remove the front flasher bulb ?
gently remove the screws holding the lens in place
remove lens and gasket set aside
firmly grasp the glass of the bulb, push, and twist until it will not twist any more
it should pull right out
replace in the same manner you removed it but be very careful when replacing the gasket to not pinch it or have it misaligned because this will led to corrosion, and do not over tighten the screws for the lens, this will crack or break the lens.
Gas pressure for 1996 royal star
That is an interesting question but it would be totally dependent on where you might be trying to measure it which is not necessary anyway. The 96 RS has 4 28mm constant velocity Mikuni carbs. the fuel is delivered to the carbs from the tank through a petcock to a small pump located under the seat. The carbs are not really pressurized as much as "fed" so any positive pressure from the pump will work. When it is pumping it has very audible "clicks" that you ought to hear each time you turn on the key with the kill switch on. These pumps run on different voltages, different speeds, and are triggered by diaphragm pressure inside the pump, they are not adjustable and either work or not so there is really no fuel pressure measurement that you could take that would mean anything.
Clutch rattle
sounds bad, i would have a mech inspect it. it could be bearings. does your clutch perform fine otherwise?
How do I replace radiator fan
Did you check the fuse? also check coolant switch(it controls the fan). Are you sure the fan is bad?, try connecting 12volts to fan connector,if it runs problem is elsewhere, with key on, check for 12volts at coolant switch( neg lead to frame,red lead to one of the contacts on switch), if no power, check fuse, if i remember right there are 2 fuse boxes, check owners manual for location.
Where can I buy replacement cylinder drain plugs?
you can go to the dealer and they can order them, if they say they can`t go to another dealer as some won`t order things over a certain age. the place is to find a bike wrecking place and get used ones.

if youve had oil in system then mix a degreaser with water and fill system several times ! if it doesnt work then remove rad and fit hose to top hose and run engine and let it flow out bottom hose ! reduce out flow some how and let engine run at normal temp to help process , take a while ! then put lots of degreaser in rad and shake , drain off and repeat several times ! same if you have a header tank , pipes also !
