May 21, 2012 - According to the manual tap link above the lower tank needs removal to get to the solenoid. The instructions for this are in the Haynes manual.

left hand clutch lever to clutch is failing.
gear box dry.
gear selector damaged.
buy it like this or out of the blue it happens now.
if clutch is bad one can jiggle any bike in to any gear. ,key off.
jiggle means move bike forward an back a tiny bit. and it shifts./
check and test the clutch first.
the clutch must work first or all key on tests can be super dangerous.
google how to test any motorcycle clutch.
end to end. test. hand lever to clutch actual.
Make sure the fuel system is properly vented (gas cap, carburetors) Make sure the petcock will freely flow fuel, If this is a vacuum system, make sure you do not have any vacuum leaks!! The carbs sound like they need a good professional clearing, setting, and synchronizing!!
