Engine surging all speeds
Sounds like a fueling problem - either have the fuel injection looked at and maybe new injectors- or have the carbs checked - you haven't really gone into any detail about the bike , the mods to the bike , the year model are you at sea lvl?
If you have added a set of pipes or a new free flow air filter it will change the jetting/air fuel mix.
What brakes do i get?
you have alot of options, emco are a good aftermarket company,or just stay with stock brake parts if they are resonably priced.

- Mate have you checked the battery and cleaned all lead ends. Even a new battery is sometimes be defective, have you got a mate with another battery to install to test to see if it is battery!
- I would try that first if bike runs with another battery then you will know. Cheers

Shift lever loose
hello,I had some threads striped out of the end that goes over the shaft and caused it not to tighten good enough on the knurled end coming out of the gear housing. I took it off, retapped it with an 8mm tap and bought a new 8mm bolt to go in there. Actually gave me a chance to re-adjust the position too. Works great now.get the service manual for it it will help you can download it from the below link:
