My 450 hp gas gas atv missfires when the throtle

100% the issue is too much air. get your carb checked, reduce air intake.

open the air intake on the carb about 4 full turns then start the bike. if it does not want to start open the idle bring it up at least 5 turns. when it start at a very high rev, start closing the air intake slowly until you feel and hear you have hit the right spot. adjust your idle in the process.

NOTE: missfires may also be caused by a fouled out sparks

My son's bike just wont start. All of the normal

I can say i know nought about the model or any problems it may have. All i can say is to : 1 . check the compression and compare to specs. 2. Did they measure the output of the ignition high tension spark and did they make sure the spark had the correct timing??. 3.Ok ...there might be fuel getting to the carby but is that fuel getting to the combustion chamber. the engine is one big pump and it may have taken in some dreggs from the bottom of the fuel tank effecting or blocking jets and airways critical for starting.I would look at stripping the carb and giving it a clean out with compressed air ,hold the jets up to the light and you should be able to see daylight out the otherside.Another quick fix to see if it's a fuel problem is to remove the plug and fill the spark plug with fuel or dump about half a teaspoon of fuel in the combustion chamber, insert the plug and kick it in the guts.If it runs a bit then stops you've got a fuel supply problem.Once you have all these things 1.compression 2. spark 3. fuel. in the correct amount your engine should fire up......Hope i could give you some pointers on what to look for Thurstak......Good luck

There is a very slim chance that anyone will know

OK just using logic, no specialist knowledge but... If temperature fluctuates, then it sounds more like a thermostat/heat control problem. If it CAN get hot then doubtless there is gas available... It's probably something to do with the heat controller unit - can you get it checked? have you looked inside the unit to see if there is any obvious issues?

My bike will start and idle but dies when you give it gas

Kerry, Check for vacuum leaks, check the fuel line is not old and collapsing (they can look good on the outside and inner collapsed), if it ha a vented cap make sure it is not plugged. Were the floats set correctly or could be sticking. There still is a chance dirt has been re introduced into jets to. Good luck.

Engine bogs down under load it starts first kick and idles nicely and will free rev crisp. Riding up a hill with load it bogs down

Is the machine a two stroke? Because if it is a blocked exhaust (full of carbon deposits) will cause exactly this symptom. The best way to clean it is to stand it on its end and fill it with oven cleaner and leave it for a day. In the old days it was just a case of heating the exhaust with a blow lamp and tapping the pipe gently to loosen the deposits

How do I fix wiring diagram CDI Cristini Gas Gas 250 E Start 2012?

You would not fix a wiring diagram in most circumstances so what is your question really about. If you want wiring diagram you will likley only get one from the manufacturer in a service manual or possibly online.

Kick start seized

IF YOUR KICKSTART HAS SEIZED AND IT WON'T TILT BACK IN THE PROBLEMS ON THE SHAFT (REMOVE THE DOMED ALAN CAP BOLT THEN REMOVE THE ACTUAL KICKSTART AND CLEAN UP THE SHAFT AND INSIDE DIA OF THE KICKSTART AND LUBE IT BEFORE REFITTING, MIND YOU DON'T LOSE THE SPRING AND BALL). IF ITS SEIZES WHEN YOU KICK THE KICKSTART THEN ITS THE KICKSTART GEAR OR BUSH IN THE SIDE COVER THATS THE PROBLEM. ITS EASY ENOUGH TO CHANGE IF YOU HAVE THE TOOLS FOR THE JOB. IF ITS A DIRT BIKE TRY TO PRESSURE WASH IT THEN SPRAY WITH WD-40 IT MIGHT HELP. GOOD LUCK IF YOU NEED HELP WITH STRIPPING IT DOWN JUST LET ME KNOW (ALSO LET ME KNOW IF ITS A LEFT OR RIGHT SIDE KICKSTART)

What causes my fat boy to idle just fine but fall on its face back fire and try to shut down while riding

Some common causes and potential solutions: Air/Vacuum Leak: If your Harley develops a vacuum leak in its air intake system, the air-fuel mixture becomes too rich. This can cause frequent stall outs, especially after the bike warms up. Vacuum leaks often occur due to dried-out or cracked air intake boots, faulty gaskets, or worn-out carburetor seals. When air escapes from the intake system, the fuel fills the empty space in the combustion chamber, altering the air/fuel ratio and negatively impacting combustion. Severe vacuum leaks can lead to excess fuel flowing into the exhaust system, causing backfiring and stalling while riding. Clogged Fuel Tank Filter/Fuel Injectors: A blocked fuel tank filter (due to coagulated fuel, moisture, dirt, or corrosion) impairs fuel flow, resulting in a lean air/fuel ratio. On fuel-injected Harleys, clogged fuel injectors produce similar symptoms. Regular maintenance, including cleaning and inspecting fuel filters, helps prevent these issues. Faulty Cam Chain Tensioner: A malfunctioning cam chain tensioner can affect engine timing and cause stalling. Regular checks and replacements are essential to avoid this problem. Faulty Cam Position Sensor: The cam position sensor plays a crucial role in ignition timing. If it malfunctions, it can lead to stalling and backfiring. Clogged Air Cleaner: A dirty air cleaner restricts airflow, affecting combustion efficiency. Regularly clean or replace the air filter to prevent this issue. Ignition System Failure: Faulty ignition components (such as spark plugs, ignition coils, or wires) can cause misfires, backfires, and stalling. Inspect and maintain these parts regularly. Compromised Battery Terminal Connection: Poor battery connections can disrupt electrical flow, affecting the ignition system. Ensure clean and secure battery terminals. Remember that diagnosing and addressing these issues may require professional assistance. Regular maintenance and timely repairs can keep your Fat Boy running smoothly on the road.

Need circuit diagram for ARLEC 15e 6-24Volt 15Amp Electronic battery charger OR their later model BC58

I can't find a diagram. The small potentiometer on the control board likely serves as an adjustable component to fine-tune specific parameters. Here are some possibilities: Voltage Regulation: The potentiometer might control the output voltage. By adjusting it, you can set the desired charging voltage for different battery types (e.g., 6V or 12V). Current Limit Adjustment: It could be used to set the maximum charging current. Adjusting the potentiometer allows you to limit the charging current based on the battery's capacity and condition. Sensitivity or Threshold: Some potentiometers act as sensitivity controls. For example, it might adjust the threshold at which the charger switches between charging and maintenance modes. Setting the Potentiometer: Without the specific circuit diagram or detailed information about your charger, I recommend the following general steps: Observe the Potentiometer: Identify the potentiometer on the control board. Note its position and any markings (if present). Consult the User Manual: Check the user manual or operating instructions. It might provide guidance on adjusting the potentiometer. Trial and Error: If no specific instructions are available, start with the potentiometer set to its mid-position. Gradually adjust it while monitoring the charger's behavior (e.g., charging current, voltage). Observe how the charger responds to changes in the potentiometer setting. Fine-tune it based on your specific battery type and desired charging characteristics. Remember that precise adjustments depend on the charger's design and the battery you're charging.

What is the length of lift cables on a 1993 model 2693 hilo camper and any info on what after market part to use ? thanks

The lift cables on a 1993 model 2693 Hilo camper are 30 feet,2 3/4 inches long and fit the standard height lift of 11 feet 8 inches high to the top of the overhead. The lift uses two cables. According to a Hi- Lo camper travel trailer forum, cable replacement is basically the same on all years and models, with the main difference being the length of the cables from model to model. You can use a cable cut chart to find what cable length you need for your camper, and you'll need to know your year, model name, and box (body) length: Lift cables typically wear out after three to five years, so it's important to replace them as needed and keep them regularly maintained.
