MY BATTERY IN ENFIELD ELECTRA
Dear,
This is due to the loose connection to the battery. if any of the terminal is kept loose it will drain off the battery.
And may even leeds to unproper battery charge.
Please look into it
thanx
1997 stock c/v carburetors. Getting gas in air cleaner
There's the issue. You're over-cammed and over/under over fueled, but under exhausted and under compressed. You've miss-matched the engine. In my experience, overcamming the stock piston and jug doesn't do a bit of good. You don't have enough compression to utize the additional air and fuel. You can try running a better pipe, but in my opinion, unless you bump her up to 8-1 compression, that cam set is hurting, not helping.
1993 bullet backfire on deceleration
nine times out of ten this has to do with the carbs/fuel injectors. if this model has carbs two things could be wrong. you have a bad fuel to air mixture (it could be lean or rich). but what is most likely the problem is you have a clogged jet. if you have a fuel injector the fuel air ratio is not a problem, and that would limit it to a clogged fuel injector. at first i would try to find some fuel system cleaner. if you live near a wall mart i would suggest some berrymans b-12 chemtool fuel system cleaner (there is also berrymans b-12 chemtool carb/choke cleaner so dont get that) and pour it in your fuel tank (dont get any on the paint or it may take the paint off), i would put the whole thing in if you have a 5 gallon tank, this shouldn't hurt it but dont do this every time you get fuel system cleaner (there is a recommended amount). run the bike until it runs out of gas. if this doesn't help you may want to take it to a mechanic to have them look at it, or ask the mechanic what exactly you might have to do to take the carbs off (if you have them) and you want to do this yourself. If you have fuel injectors your going to need a mechanic, newer bikes and equipment is alot harder to take apart. one of the other things that could be wrong is the electical coils may be starting to go bad and it isn't igniting the fuel properly and when it builds up and the weak spark finally ignites it there is a lot of extra fuel in the cylinder it make a bigger than normal pop.
i hope this give you some where to start
sincerely,

05 heritage it won't run unless the choke is
Remove the float bowl and clean the entire carb with a spray carb cleaner from the auto parts store. Wear protective goggles to avoid getting spray in your eyes. Spray into all the little airways and fittings in the carb. Remove the idle screw and the air screw on the outside throat of the carb and spray into the screw holes as well.

Be sure to put these two screws back in the same hole they came out of. IMPORTANT > do not tighten these two screws down. Only screw these in until they LIGHTLY seat. Now turn each screw one and one half turns outward. Put the rest of the carb back together, clean the air filter and install the carb. Let the float bowl fill then start the engine. This process should get you back on the road.

CV Carburetor
my '06 Electra (completely stock) is getting a little harder to kick start so I pulled the spark plug and it looks to be running rich. I haven't really kept track of gas mileage so don't have any information there. I have noticed that the exhaust pipe has no signs of bluing which I expected to see as I thought it was fairly typical. When I read Pete Snidal's manual on the CV carb he indicates it is pretty much a factory set and forget carburetor. I checked the air filter and it looks almost as clean as the day it was new and there is no sign of any oil blowback in the airbox.
My question would be what have others found with this setup, and should I just replace the plug and not worry, should I start tweaking the mixture adjustment? Or, should I be pulling the carb off to clean it? I'll have to admit I'm a little nervous about the last part as it has been many years since I've delved into carburetors.,I had problems with back-firing on the over-run and running out of power over 50 mph ( almost like the choke was full on) The plug colour was dark chocolate...obviously running too rich. I took the carb apart and reset the needle height..no problems thereafter. I have no idea why the needle should have slipped out of correct adjustment as I too understood these carbs were set and go end of story.,,,
I have a royal enfield
In order to run smoothly an engine must have the correct air/fuel ratio and the correct ignition timing.
A lean air/fuel mixture and/or advanced ignition timing can have a very big effect on the smoothness of an engine...

The bike wobbles a lot
The problem you are describing is just low tire pressure. If you replace the steering neck bearings you also need to replace the races the bearings roll against to properly tighten the neck. One piece bearings are like automotive wheel bearings , It is a cone shaped bearing with a cone shaped race. If you know the dimension of the steering stem and the steering neck inner diameter , you may be able to purchase some.
If your fork slide bushings were loose , or if the inside of the fork lower/bottom were worn they could be sloppy with out leaking past the seal on top of the fork lower/bottom.
I think you need to inspect your tire for cupping and try 35 pounds of pressure that may be all you need.
I maintained my bike speed
The speed is not important. When running a new engine in, keep the power down. Every 100 miles or so, a quick burst of power will help to take the sharp edges off the bearing. Only for a few moments!
As you do more mileage and not before 1000 miles keep the power as low as you can using the gears to lower the power required. That careful driving will pay dividends in the end.
If you use full power at low speeds, you run the risk of excessive wear to the pistons and bearings. Change the oil after 500 miles and DON'T use synthetic until the engine is fully run in.
Hope that explains it.
