Have you cleaned the carburator ? It seems the main jet has some kind of obstruction.
Try cleaning the carburator and well a tune up would be fine too after the clean , check the plug/s & air filter too.

How much oil does it use? Some blowby is to be expected with older engines. Does it fog the neighbourhood every time you ride it? got my side stand switch fixed and took her out for a spin and had yet another problem. When im riding it and take off it kinda sputters unless i crack it all the way open and then it runs out great. It seems that the problem is is just like at half throttle taking offit just sputters. A ny suggestins? I just got a VR 2000 Enduro but it wont start. It wont even turn when I click the starter button... no sound at all. I jumped it and rode it fine but it wont start on its own. I thought it might be the battery so I got a new one... still nothing. Any idea what the problem could be? Someone told me water gets into the front plug on this model when it rains... would this prevent it from even making a sound when I push the button? Please let me know what you think.
