I solved it,YES. I had that problem and the solution is: Make shure the drive belt goes as low as possible at the engine side,use washers to correct if nessecery. Change the three springs to 1500 rpm instead of the normal 1000 rpm. Done.

Best is to charge the battery. 2nd best is to get a battery boost 3rd is to bump start.

See if you can find a friend with a trickle charger and put it on for several hours.

You likely need a new plug if it has been wet from fuel but then you need to find out why it is wet. If it is wet it could be fuel or oil related so you need to find out which. If it is fuel related it must be running very rich so it should also be blackened like with soot and if oil wet it should be oil black on the plug.

You can fix this by grinding your clutch shues (3x) and follow the round shape when grinding (more contact surface) However it will come back and you have to do it again (I hate Yamaha for this)anny more dureable sugestions?

You might try using a ruler between the bolt holes to see if they are the same distance apart on both parts. If you don't want to do that, call a wrecking yard and ask them to look up interchangeable parts. They can do that for cars, why not bikes?

If you are using key with red bow to start, then dont use that.Use the key with black bow.-----Disconnect the battery and wait for 10 minutes, then reconnect the battery and try to start the Yamaha xmax with any other key.The immobilizer light is flashing, that's the indication of wrong key.This light is flashing because its not detecting the key which you inserted in the ignition to start the bike.--------- In you have any other key, then try with that key, but first disconnect the battery for 10 minutes then reconnect and try with other spare key.This will help.------------ ----------------------- Exactly, why this light blinks?-------------- This light blinks if someone tries to steal your bike and uses a different key or method of starting your bike..it wont start unless your key that has a programmed chip is inserted..just a safety/security feature.--------- Or if your bike key chip is got faulty.In the key there is a chip and in the ignition lock cylinder there is a sensor.If that sensor do not detect the key, then this immobilizer light will blink.----------Try cleaning the chip in your key.By spraying wd-40 and then cleaning it with a dry cloth.Also spray wd-40 in your bikes ignition lock cylinder. Spray the wd-40 in the key hole.Let it remain there for few minutes, then insert the ket in the key hole and wiggle it to on and off.Then try to start and see.--------- If the bike starts with another key, then the previous key which you used is faulty and the immobilizer chip in the key has to be replaced and then programmed by the dealer.--------- But if the bike not starting with another key too.Then the problem is with ignition lock cylinder sensor.That sensor in the ignition key lock is faulty and not detecting key.The ignition key lock cylinder with sensor has to be replaced, by the dealer.----------- In some cases this problem gets resolved automatically after exact 24 hours. This is a highly ill - eagle act to do. In the old days we would put an electric drill on the drive cable, but now they make them tamper proof so they only go one way. The bezels are crimped on so you can't get inside them. I expect modern one may be electronic. How will your insurance company know what mileage you have done? I have never known an insurance cancel or fine due to mileage. You should have just disconnected it when you got close to the limit. Buy a used one and use them for 6 months in turns.
