What you are describing is a security system that prevents the bike from starting. My Harley had a FOB that went with the key, without it the bike wouldn't start. It was like the security key on cars. If you have one and your battery is dead, that would be the problem. You could jump the starter relay to see if the bike starts for you. If so then I'm pretty sure you are dealing with a security chip/FOB issue. Best of luck:)

Injectors inject? Got a spark?

Could be damaged or defective drive

The screw and/or nut could be stripped.

Che ck for the broken wire in the front loom.

To let you know it's overheating

dead / failing battery- failed switch--short in harness-starter failing can be anything

if there is no spark when u crank it it means there is a problem with your starter coil u fix that everything will be alright. There is no need to change your battery.

check your clutch plate...if it hasn't changed or cheeked in a long time change it

perhaps the flasher relay has failed

Sounds out of time whoever did work may have put back together loft timing or valves not lashed correctly

starter failing --wiring / connector ---ignition switch failing-safety switch ---need a meter to test when problem occurs again

If there is ignition spark then check fuel intake. Remove spark plug of the front cylinder and crank. You should smell unburnt fuel.If No. Then check fuel supply from carb or injectors. If there is, then check ignition timing. If OK then do a compression test for both cylinders and compare.If the front is lower with more than 10 percent difference, then you need to overhaul.
