How to unclog a clogged print head on the Canon...
Using a cotton swap dip into some plain water and then drop a few drops of water onto the outlet of the ink cartridge [you will have to remove the ink cartridge and turn it upside down].
Also while the ink cartridge is still removed, drop a few drops of water onto the inlet orifice into which the ink goes. The orifice of the ink cartridge sits right on top of the inlet to the print head when the ink cartridge is fully installed.
After putting the water drops onto the ink cartridge and onto the inlet orifice of the print head, I did the 'clean' procedure as listed in the "Canon PIXMA iP4000 Properties" of the program on my PC. Then I did the deep clean procedure. After that I printed the print pattern and found that this technique worked quite well -- since before I had tried isopropyl alcohol which didn't work to unclogged these print heads.
When I had the blue print head get clogged [on my Canon iP4000 Pixma printer] and I tried this method. It worked immediately.
I hope it works for you too.
God be with you!
