'Resetting' your Lexmark x3350 All-in-One

So I tried using my Lexmark today...  the power button is constantly on, and it won't do anything, My Lexmark just worked yesterday!

After calling that money grubbing Lexmark tech support line, they told me that I simply needed to unplug & then replug the power cord. I've only tried that over a dozen times, but gee tech support may know something that I don't so I tried for the 13th time!

And then they sincerely apologized and offered me a discounted All-in-One referb to purchase online.  Forget it !

I removed both ink Cartridges, then while holding down the power button, plugged the power cord back in and the display came back on, and the printer reset itself!

Thank you Diana for your post! I simply tried the same steps as for your Cannon. You just saved me over $100 bucks I don't have, and alot of frustration over a company that doesn't really 'support' your purchase of their product!

I really was NOT looking forward to getting another machine.
