How to Create a System Restore Point
How to Create a System Restore Point
[Edit]
On Windows XP machines, you can create a System Restore point, so you can revert your entire system (everything) to that one point.
Steps
1. Open Windows Explorer (by opening a folder, any folder) and press F1.
2. Search for "System Restore Wizard", and click "Run System Restore Wizard."
3. Click "Create A Restore Point."
4. Create a name.
5. Click create.
Tips
1. This is useful if you're going to install a big piece of software affecting your operating system. For example, when installing a Mac OS for Windows, it's a good idea to create a restore point, so you can revert back.
Warnings
1. This was tested in Windows XP Home. It could be different in other versions.
