I had airbag light on as well and cruise didn't work, and horn and the wipers would come when ever they wanted to. Had it checked out and it was the clockspring relay in the steering wheel free, recall part and labour ($400.00 value no charge.) Good luck.

I have a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan and my cruise control does come on, but with it a brake indicator light comes on as well. Why would this be?

Check to ensure your rear brake lights are working. If there is a fault in the brake light switch at the pedal then this is also what cuts out the cruise control. If you have no rear brake lights then replace the switch.

Have a 2000 T&C van. The horn and cruise no longer work. My airbag indicator light is on as well. The left side turn blinker blinks twice as fast as the right one. Any suggestions as to what might be...

If you haven't checked your blinker bulbs, I would start there. The horn and cruise are not supposed to be tied together but, they usually go out when the Airbag clocl spring goes bad. There a recall for the problem but you need to meet certain requirements to qualify for the FREE repair. Please see below:

My cruise control and horn have stopped working on my dodge caravan se

In most cases this problem is caused by the rotating ribbon circuit contact under the steering wheel having a broken filament, the part is known as a clock spring contact, u will need to properly disarm the airbag and remove the steering wheel to access the part. WARNING: Failure to disarm the airbag system can result in an unexpected Airbag deployment and possible serious personnel injury disconnect the battery 30 minutes prior to start of work.

When you push the cruise control the light turns on on the dash but nothing happens what should i run test on 1998 dodge caravan se

I have the same problem on my 1998 Grand Caravan. Cruise control light comes on but it will not set. Have had the clock spring replaced (2 years ago) and BCM (6 months ago). Could be brake light switch on the brake pedal. Haven't been able to check it yet because of weather. Sounds easy to change and costs about $16.00. Will try to post if I get a new switch and it works.

I have a 96 dodge caravan my horn is not working and airbag light is on please help...

If your horn is not working and your airbag light is on, then your cruise control definitely is not working too. This is cause by a faulty "clockring" underneath the airbag on the steering wheel. There is a recall for this clockring, make sure you mention this to dealer otherwise you will be charged $250+. I own a 1996 Dodge Caravan SE, 3.0L and luckily I received a recall notice few weeks after I went to the dealer for a diagnostics of the problem. I wasn't ready to pay for this amount and I'm glad I got it fixed for free. Enjoy.

Horn and cruise don't work

The horn and cruise is activated through a clock spring switch assembly located under the steering wheel. Diagnosis is done by removing the steering wheel . It also controls the airbag electrical so use caution..

It's the " clock spring " . Dodge has a lifetime recall / replacement on this part. Somehow it controls the air bag and is tied into the horn and cruise control .

1998 Dodge Grand Caravan Horn Not Working

The most common problem with this is the clockspring, it is located just under the steering wheel. It will cause the horn not to work, airbag light to come on, and the cruise not to work. There is probably a recall on this. Contact a local dealer to see if the recall applies to your car.
