1999 Chevrolet Malibu, "Coolant Overflowing"
Everytime I run the engine and goes up to normal or a bit higher temperature ( not in the red line) the coolant is overflowing violently from the coolant reservoir.

In a 2001 Chevy Malibu what would cause the gas gage, temp gage, heat/ac, radio, windows, and cruise control to stop working all at once?

Bad ground. You have several of them on the inside of the car. There are a couple on the steering column. one one each side of the car. Under the kick panels on the drivers and passenger side. These have several wires going the a ground plug. Mounted to the body.

Gas gauge malfunction and engine light stays on

This is a common problem with Malibu's. It is due to cheap metal in the fuel gage that corrodes. Chevrolet knows about this but they refuse to issue a fix. The check engine light staying on and the faulty fuel gage are related. This is a defect and they need to recall this part! Raise hell with the dealership!
