The fuel pump relay is located in the junction box under the hood in most cases if not in there it's along the firewall on either the left or right side.

I have a kia sorento model2007. when i mesuring the fuel pressure at commun rail it do not mesure anything the scaner dosent show any code what doyuo think could be the problem . Thanks very much

An engine cranking signal will cause the ECU to turn the pump on through the fuel pump relay. Also, the pump should come on briefly when key is turned to on, to pressurize the lines and the fuel rail.
It sounds like you will have to troubleshoot the fuel puimp operation. A pump that is not working, whether because of a failed pump or a problem with the wiring to the pump, will NOT set a trouble code.
Pull off the pump connector at the tank, and see if you have power there, while someone cranks the car over. If you have power there, then likely it is a bad pump. If no power, then possibly the relay is bad or the wiring to the pump needs investigating.
Good luck.

Fuel pump relay

The fuel pump relay is located in the underhood fuse and relay center, the bottom box cover lists the components location. I will tell you this, I have never seen a fuel pump relay fail in this car, it is likely if you have no fuel pressure the pump has failed in the fuel tank.

When you turn the key, your fuel pump should make a bbzzz sound for a second or two. Try that a couple of times to see if you hear anything. If not, it may be going bad. If if was bad, your vehicle wouldn't stop. If you have over 50,000 miles on your filter, it may need changed. They get clogged sometimes and will cause stalling or hard starts. Hope this helps you.

1996 chevrolet fuel pump relay

you are going to have to have the wires from the underside of the relay checked for a short or the contacts for the relay to plug to for tightness.Fuel pumps usually dont burn up relays wires burn up relays like maybe even a pinched wire when the tank was removed and re installed.
