The driver's seat is where the rattle can be heard best while driving at low speeds; the noise is not from the seat itself

It could be the rail for the seat, try adjusting its layer and tighten it by putting double bushes on the nut and under the rail itself, I have a range rover had similar problem and did it with my grandpa's help, and voila!

I've never heard a hub make a rattle noise. A bad hub bearing will usually make a roaring or whining noise at speed and/or it will have play in it. When is the rattle noise made, over bumps, at a slow speed, at high speeds?

Chirping sound in rear inside area behind drivers seat

Check or have service tech check rear diagonal arms, not the control arms. The tech will need to hit the bolt heads with a hammer, and you should hear the difference from left to right side. Another noise that can also be heard at times on some cars is the rear 1/4 window mounting rivets making a noise over bumps. Dealers should know about these...

A rattling noise

I had rattling noises as well (over bumps and when I reved the engine) and it turned out to be the heat shields under the car. I took out 2 heat shields covering the two cats on both sides AND two rusted out dangling rings hanging from the exhaust coupler (have NO clue what they were for)..This has TOTALLY gotten rid of the rattling noise. Good luck!

2001 mitsubishi eclipse gt rattles over bumps at low speeds

you could have bad mounting bushings for the struts or it could be other bushings in the rear axle tracking arms. in order to find out you have to jack the vehicle up.(use jack stands to support the vehicle for safety) check all the struts and shocks and any componant that has to do with keeping the wheels on the ground . that is what the strut/shock is for. check the coils spring to make sure they are not loose. the coils spring keeps the body from bottomning out... hope this helps..........please rate.

I have a 2001 Silhouette. I have a noise in the front end that sounds like a wheel bearing going bad. It increases in loudness with speed. At low speed it can't be heard at all but at around 50 to 60 it...

I have a 2002 Olds van and it also makes a noise under the front driver wheel well. Mine was mostly when I hit potholes or large dips causing the shocks to compress. The problem is a metal to metal contact between a bushing lip and the suspension. On this side, the bushing is manufactured opposite of the passenger side. The lip is up and causes the two metal pieces to rub. I had to grind down the lip so it would be like the other side. All is better now. I'm not sure if this is where your noise is coming from since it gets louder with speed. I would assume yours is a bearing. Sorry.

Problems with the car

Lots of rattles, which is surprising! Doors flexed over bumps, steering wheel creaks on low speed car park type turns, door trim gives off low amplitude noises from time to time. Paintwork defects on delivery - rear bumper dimpled, dirt in clear coat. Paint defects in use - one of the front fog light cut outs has flaking paint and the hatch is streaked after washer fluid ran down it from use several times. Driver's dash vent came adrift at one corner.
