need a diagram for a 1998 ford contour fuze box

  • Anonymous Dec 23, 2008

my hazard blinkers and turn blinkers do not work. I cannot reference the location on the fuse block or if there is a relay.

    symptoms include:

when the Hazard Indicators are activated, nothing happens.

when the turn indicators are activated, nothing happens.

for example, when I lift the turn arm, my indicators do not light or flash. the same goes for my hazards

can you sent a diagram of both fuse boxes

The light will come on in the dash, but the cruise control won't engage. Any idea which fuse I need to change or if indeed it is a fuse that needs changing.

There are 2 fuse blocks. 1 is under the dash, the other is under the hood next to the battery. Let me know if you are still looking, I can scan the page in my book and email it to you.

I need year--make--model?
I don't know if cruise and blower motor issues are connected? Check applicable fuses, some fuses are hot all the time, some go hot with the key on. Not only check the fuse, check the fuse circuit for voltage, use a test light to check for voltage.

Which fuse will disable the air conditioner and heating operation in a 98 Lincoln Town Car

I can give you a few ideas about this. 1. A chronic problem is the blower motor resistor which will shut down the blower in all modes. 2. The fuse diagram is available, even video youtube articles by searching the words "air conditioning fuse or heater fuse" and the year, make, and model car. 3. The auto climate control has a diagnostic sequence which can tell you if an a/c or heat part is bad. You can find the activation codes online, but you need the translation to tell what the results are showing from the diagnostics.

Cruise control doesnt work the light doesnt even come on

Fuses are a great place to start, if not fuses the actual cruise control switch may be to fault. Rear heater do you get heat out the front and if so is there a fuse for a rear fan maybe a blower.. Let me know

The Heater or Air Condition not blowing

You may need a mechanic for this. There is a 40amp fuse for the blower in the fuse box under the hood. There is also a blower relay. But you also have fuses and components for the automatic climate control which turns the blower on and off.

I need a fuse diagram for a 99 e350 diesle van. 7.3L The cruise, both a/c, and heater doesnt work. I can turn the knob to turn the blower on but it doesnt work.. Fuse? Relay?

well if you cant find a shop manual for it get yourself a test light so you can just go through and test your fuses if your switcs are on you should have power at the fuse and if no power at one or more of the fuses pull them out look at the condition and repalce as neccasary

Where is the cruise control fuse in a 2004 chevy trailblazer?

Gotta tell you, this question had me a little confused. Below are 2 wiring diagrams for you. One is for the cruise control circuit and the other is for the air conditioning circuit. The reason I gave you those is because it seems according to the wiring diagram in the cruise control that the fuse for the cruise control goes to the HVAC (air conditioning). According to the wiring diagram for the A/C yes that fuse also controls the ignition power for the A/C controller. In any case the fuse that would cover the cruise control is the number 30 fuse in the fuse panel located under the hood of the vehicle. Below is a picture of the location of the fuse panel and also fuse layout diagrams for the 6 cylinder and 8 cylinder engine vehicles as they have different layouts depending on the engine size. I hope this helps you and good luck.

Fan is not working even i use air condition or heater no air coming out and i don't know which one to replace?

First check the fuse for the heater/ac fan. If the fuse is OK, you probably need a new blower motor. If the fuse is blown, replace it. If it blows again, you could have short in the heat/ac control computer, or the blower motor may still be bad. In this vehicle, the blower motor is probably less expensive to replace than the controller, and you can test the blower once it is disconnected by applying battery voltage to it (observe correct polarity). If it does not move when jumped directly to the battery, it is almost certainly bad.
