Ask the dealer to look up the sensor for you again and ask them if there is a seal or o-ring that needs to be installed onto the sending unit (the threaded area). I suspect a missing o-ring or possibly a small crack, at the threaded hole. If you have anymore questions or details please feel free. Good luck.
I'm guessing you are talking about the cover or fascia and not the enforcement part of the bumper assembly. Below are the instructions for removing the fascia. Also in some other pictures and instructions are for the air deflector which is only the bottom part as well as the extention which basically snaps in but be careful removing it not to mess up the clips. These were the largest pictures I could post on here due to a size limit when posting. If you need larger pictures or you were talking about the entire bumper assembly, feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with your vehicle information and detailed questions so I'm sure to send the correct stuff to you. No charge or cost to you for it, don't mind helping. Hope this is what you are looking for and hope it helps.....
pick yourself up a haynes manual from autozone, or pepboys, etc. the book will tell you exactly how to replace anything and everything that would need to be replaced on the vehicle... they show you pictures and have the written instructions so you dont mess up... hope this helps you out...
