It's built into the hazard button on the dash. Buy a new hazard light switch, change that out, and you'll be set.

Most likely you have a bulb butnt out put your turn signail on and do a walk around of the vehicle. to find the bulb that needs replaceing.

Both trun signals quit working at the same time

this is caused by the turn signal flasher module, you can see it if you either dropping the glove box liner or removing the ash tray slider bracket, it is a little difficult to access.

Turn signals do not blink all the time. sometimes they work. Turn signals don't work right. Sometimes blink a few times or not at all.

I just got a 2001 beetle and i had the same problem I changed out the emergency flasher which also is the turn signal relay and it fixed i got the part online and it costed $29.00 plus shipping i did it myself the switch just slides out it was a little hard getting it to plug back in but I got it in about 5 min of messing with it

Turn signal

first it is not call realy it is call flasher try to ask for the turn signal lights flasher
but most likelly is not going to be a flasher problem since the turn signal sw trigers the flasher.
