It could be the converter but most shops wont remove them unless they put in a new one

I have a 2000 323I bmw and I'm having loss of

I rencently had the same problem. Lasted a week or two before it threw a code. Ended up just being a camshaft position sensor. Replaced sensor, now it runs like new. Just be careful with the crankcase breather hose, it's very brittle!

First check to make sure the throtle cale is moving freely. do this by taking the throttle and making sure it is fully closing. it is very possible the cable is sticking within the cable housing. next you should clean the throttle body and make sure it closes with no cable attached. then check for any codes related to the idle air control motor.

Hi, i have a 1999 bmw 323i and the is not giving me the performance as usual, it wont pick up speed fast, if am going 50mh and i press the break and than press on the gas it wont respond fast at all even...

A few classic possibilities here. First your throttle body sensor may be bad. Second your mass airflow sensor may be bad. Third your fuel regulator may be on the blitz. Also, if your oxygen sensor is going bad you may feel a slow response to your acceleration. My best bet is that your mass airflow sensor is going bad. No fuel after running out of gas and adding more fuel

Run out of fuel....prior the car is after refueling, the engine won't start....if this is the problem,

Make sure the battery is cranking and strong.
Pressed gas pedal 4 times before starting.
Repeat above 3 times in 10 seconds per attempt.
Now press on the gas pedal pemanently while starting.

If this didn't work...get a syringe and scoop some gasoline from your fuel gas container and remove the rubber connectig from your trottle body and spray the syringe fuel inside and return the rubber hose. This should start the engine, unless your fuel tank is equipped automatic shut-off then you have to pound the rear end of your car where the fuel entry is located or push the button on the inside your trank to open the flow of fuel to the engine. Check your manual.
