Question about 1997 Volkswagen Jetta
Not quite sure how to explain so here goes. I go and have my car worked on and I get it back the next morning I go out to start it and it is completely dead the is no power. I jump it with my battery pack and it starts. I go to auto zone to see if they have any idea and they check the battery and ulternator and it is fine. We hear this hissing sound and it sounds like air is coming out somwhere can not fine where. The mechanic I had working on my car puts in a yellow fuse because there was a fuse missing. Today being Monday a holiday I have it towed and know it will not start at all. I go thru and pull the yellow fuse number 20 out and the hissing stops. Meanwhile my battery pack is dead and I am waiting for someone to come jump me to see if the problem was the yellow fuse. It does not say and i do not say what the fuse goes to there are no labels explaining what the fuses go to. Is there any way that you can help me and also give me a list of what fuse is for what.
What you seem to have is a relay is bad in the junction box. this operates the fuel pump solenoid. the easy way to check this is remove the a/c clutch relay and switch it with the fuel pump solenoid your vehicle should fire. after you jump it. the yellow fuse is for eic the electronic ignition controle module. seeing is you just had it worked on take it back to mechanic and have hime fix it right. after all you payed for it so they should get it right
