Question about 1996 Toyota Celica
I have a motor out of a 94 toyota corolla I can change sensors and things like that to make it work. The only thing I have a problem with is the motor out of the celica has like two crank shaft sensors in it the one out of the corrolla only has one. I was wondering if I change the timing cover, would the crank shaft have the little gears for the crank shaft sensors to work off of? Or do I need both of the sensors, or if in fact both of them are sensors. I know one of them is, not sure about the other. They both look the same.
They are both the same ,however you don't have to chang the cover at all just un hook one of the sensor wires and splice then it into the first sen=sor this way you don't have an open circuit...please rate this
