Car won't start, engine locked down due to immobilizer. Locks work, lights work. It's a 1994 Chevrolet conversion van g20 series . We charged the battery of the van, that's not it. It doesn't do anything, no sounds, no clicks, nothing.

You most likely have a failed anti theft system. Go to this link to read about these systems. I have no permanent fix for you, but you might be able to bypass the anti theft parts at the ignition. This might get you going. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/

1994 G20 conversion van. 6 cylinder. Engine running in park. When I apply brake. Engine quits then van will not restart.

Check vacuum lines.
There is a large one on the power brake booster that goes to the back on the fuel system. Make sure you have vacuum before you try anything else.
A vacuum leak will cause you to stall out.

I have a 1994 chevy Van G20 series it will go in reverse and in low gears but wont shift

Check your E-break first, secondly check to make sure you have no errors kicking from the control unit (engine computer module) which may or may not trigger a check engine light. Moreover it could be several things. Since it's an automatic the drive train maybe damaged, controller unite could be damaged, the transmission could (and probably) is dying. I'd have a professional mechanic check it out.

How do you remove the back seat from a 1994 chevy g20 van?

I believe the seats are bolted to the floor of the van. Make sure you unplug all electrical connections before removing the seats.

Chevy van g20 year 1994 the battery dies has new battery and new alternator but each morning its dead need to charge the battery need help have any ideas and please talk problem please

Does the battery light work when you switch the ignition on? This provides a live feed to the alternator via the ignition bulb, the rotor needs a live feed to start the charge process, if the bulb has blown it won't charge (thin wire connected to the IND on the alternator). To check for a power drain, disconnect the negative battery lead put a AMP meter in series, (DON'T TRY TO START, YOU WILL BLOW THE METER). If you get a reading above 0.05amps (clock) you have a drain, pull the fuses one at a time and watch for a drop in the meter reading. Hope this helps.

I have a 94 Chevy G20 and am having problems with door locks. I can unlock them with the remote and in about five minutes they will lock back. It will not lock with door locks. If this is bad will it...

(1) Check the lock and unlock relays. If they have the same part number change them around to see if problem reverses.Could be bad relays.(2) Also check connections going to the actuators.

Electronic Control Module Installation 1994 G20 Chevy Van

I just had the same problem. If it is a regular van try under the driver seat in a plastic box. If it is a conversion van try in a pannel just behind driver seat on side of van wall behind a pannel that looks like a vent.
