I'm haveing a problem with my 2006 RR Sport car alarm. I can lock the door with the remote, but my alarm keeps going off. It stops but continues to go off during the day. The only message that I have received in the recent month is that my "Bonnett was open". Found out my Bonnett is the hood. Made sure the hood was closed tight and I have not received the message. But the alarm keeps going off.

You can't disable it. Newer Dodges have chips in the key. Older Dodges you could lock the car down and open the door with the key to disarm the alarm. Try both doors. The latch sensor in one door could be broken. If still no luck, you'll have to get it on a scanner to read codes. Code readers don't read security codes.
What you have to do is, take your car manual. you will have to look at the part of the manual that details where your fuses and fuse box is. your fuse, for the air bag alarm may be malfunctioning, you could try replacing because a fuse for that would be about 50cents at radioshack, otherwise, do you really want an airbag alarm? think about it, if you were to get into an accident, God forbid, do you wanna be waiting for police and rescue while having to deal with that horrible alarm after youre already hurt and in pain, i chose to just remove the fuze from my car, and everyhing runs hunky dory. try it.
The alarm must of activated , the alarm is controlled by the locks, go to passenger door and use the key to lock and then unlock the door, this will shut down alarm, you may have to use the passenger door to shut down alarm due to a bad switch in drivers door, this will allow you to start the car, you can also not lock door and alarm may not arm. let me know if the passenger door lock works, good day.
there is no reset, whenever you turn the igntion key to on or unlock the door with the remote or the key the system is disramed, if it goes off like you have going on a sensor in the system is defective and you will need the dealer to scan the system for the fault.
you may have a bad door switch, theres a switch on the drivers door lock, when door is unlocked with fob or key the switch is activeated to shut alarm down, the lock moves to hit switch with key or fob,so if the switch is bad it will not shut down alarm, i would start there, door panel has to be remove, then latch has to be remove to get to switch, then test with a meter see if it opens and closes the connection, hope this helps.
