I need to install the sparkplugs wires

Best way, is to lay out the new wires on a surface near the work area and arrange them by length.
Then, remove one wire on your jeep at the plug, holders, and at the distributor.

Measure removed wire by holding it next to new wires and selecting the one closest to its length.
Install this new wire at the plug, run it thru any holders and connect to the distributor.

Repeat this procedure until all the wires have been replaced.

Hope this helps...

How do I change the spark plug of the dodge magnum 2006

· Open the hood and remove the bolts that hold the engine cover in place, if your Dodge comes with an engine cover (depending on model and year). If so equipped, pull the cover off the engine.

· 2

Grab a spark plug wire by the base of the wire and pull the wire up and out of the engine. (You may need to wiggle it back and forth while pulling up on it to get it out of the engine.)

· 3

Trace the wire back to the power distributor and pull the spark plug wire off the distributor. Make a note of the plug orientation.

· 4

Install the new plug wire in the place of the removed one. Match the new wire with the old one to make sure they have the same size. Press the plug wire over the distributor electrode and onto the spark plug firmly, so that the ends are secure. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure.

· 5

Repeat the above procedure for all the other spark plug wires. It is best to change all the spark plug wires at the same time.

How to remove spark plug wires from the distributor on a 1992 camry 3.0l 6 cyl they have some sort of cover for each wire

Please don't forget to rate!

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Label and disconnect the wires from each spark plug one at a time.
  3. Remove the spark plug wires from the distributor cap. On some models you may need to use a flat bladed tool to lift up the lock claw and disconnect the holder from the cap. Separate the wires at the grommet.

How do remove the spark plug wire harrness on the front of a 1990 buick century

Use a suitable spark plug wire tool to remove wire from spark plug being careful not to end up leaving the terminal from the wire on the plug. If the terminal is ripped away from the wire you will have to repair it by spreading open the crimps and reattach to wire and recrimp. Silicone spray works well to slide the wire further past the spark plug wire boot to make the repair.Always use die-electric or silicone grease on the inside of plugs wire boot before you attach to plug, it helps removal for next time and it seals the boot so spark dont leak from boot and makes a moisture barrier as well. Now to answer your question if the wires are in a loom holder you have to take the top part of the loom holder apart to get wires out of it . The loom holder usually just pops into slots on the bottom part of the loom holder. It shouldn't be too hard to figure out

My car keeps cutting off and idling high after I have replaced the starter and spark plugs

check the spark plugs wire , could possibly have a cut, to do so, start the engine and remove one wire from the spark plug wearing a rubber glove, and direct the end of it to a metal part and keep and eye on the sparks are they continuous or random, then put it back,do that to each wire one by one, if u notice a sparking cut in one of them so u might wana change them. "before doing all that make sure they are plugged in correctly and tightly from both side, spark plug side and distributor."
