Question about 1996 Ford Windstar
I have a 1996 Ford Windstar 3.8L, front disc brake, rear brake drums. My hydrolic brake line ( matal lines) are very rusty, one broke, the rear right wheel line is very long about eight feet, the dealer don't sell the lines, no auto repair have these lines and they want to join them is that safe to, or can you tell me where I can buy all of these lines, I would like to replace all of them. My e-mail address is Parsard@verizon.net please reply
P.S. I live in New York City
Any good auto parts store (or go online) will have different sizes and length brake lines. They won't have the exact factory line, you will have to use several different lengths with a junction (connector) between each length. They come in lengths of one foot up to about 5 feet, and yes, you should replace all lines if one has rusted through, as the others will fail soon. Check NAPA, Auto Zone, Advanced Auto Parts, JC Whitney, etc. countrycurt0
