Clicking noise...car won't start

The car won't turn over at all. When I go to turn it on the panel lights up then when i turn the key the panel goes off for a second and you hear the click noise then the panel returns but the car does not start at all or even acts like it is going to start. I tried the other suggestion of pulling on the fan belt while the car is in neutral and that did nothing. Do you have any other suggestions??

Well if when turning the the key and you get a flashing dash lights that tells me that your ignition module is bad. i would also check the connections under the dash you could have a shoryt or a few loose wires.

Car won't Crank/start

With a voltage meter see how many volts are at the starter terminal. If not 12+ volts you have a bad connection. Check connection at the starter solenoid. Does it have 12+volts? Short the solenoid. Does it put voltage to the starter?

Car won't start . Clicking noise wen key is turned

It's your starter. Find location of your starter. By the flywheel. Then. Bang on it . Your car will start. You still need to replace the starter.

My 2004 f150 wont start. i drove it to the store and everything worked fine. when i came out of the store, the truck won't start. when i turn the key nothing happens. i can hear a clicking noise coming...

I would check your battery. I would also look for loose grounds. The clicking you hear is your fuel pump turning on. I would check your battery voltage and, have the battery load tested.

Electrical Problem and now won't start

One common problem is with intrument cluster solder joints where the cable connector attaches to the circuit board. Solder joints fracture. Resolder. Use Hanes manual to get dashboard apart.

Indication is instrument panel goes dead and car sometimes will not start.

Other possibilites are loose connectors or poor connections in cable harnesses.
