Radiator fan not working in 93 Dodge Spirit V-6. Temp gauge in instrument cluster inside works fine. Is there a separate or dedicated coolant temp sensor for rad fan, different than the temp sensor...

in fuse box there should be a relay marked "fan" swap it for another relay say from heater and see if this fixes problem, also check if fan spins freely, it may be causing fuse to blow if it is a bit old& seized

1993 dodge spirit heater fuse

The heater is NOT actuated by a fuse, the fan is. ]But if the fan blows, the electrical part is OK, then it must be the heater door that switches from the cold air to the hot one, or 2) the heater core is not receiving enough hot coolant.

THE TEMP GAGE FLOATS BACK AND FORTH. NEW RADIATOR,FLUSHED THE HEATER CORE, CHANGED THE THERMO STAT. WHAT NEXT? THE WATER PUMP.

#1 If It's a 2000-2006 GM the stepper motor in the cluster may be the problem.
#2 There may be air in your system. Bleed out the air and the Antifreeze flows a lot better.

My 1991 Dodge Spirit over heats, just blows cold air out of the heater and the battery gauge drops. Is it just the thermostst and dirty battery cables or something more seious?

You more than likely have a head gasket leak. Have your cooling system pressure tested to determine where it is leaking. Check the tailpipe on your car for black wet pungent smelling residue. This could be burnt antifreeze. If so, you may need a new head gasket. The reason it is blowing cold air is the antifreeze is low because of the leak. Hope this helps. Good luck!

What is the minimum workable gas level on the dodge spirit 91?

You need 91 Octane if not higher. The higher the better on hot days to keep detonation from occurring. Good luck and hope this helps, and do not use platinum spark plugs, use a good copper plugs.

The engine seems to overheat and the internal heater blows cold

The problem is your coolant level has gone too low check and top up when engine is cold, you will see the marks on the expansion bottle, if prob persists there may be an airlock in the heater radiator. keep an eye on coolant level or you will have cylinder head problems.
