My car is a 98 ex Honda civic coupe. When i change gears it makes a noise as if your lifting the car up or down before that it wouldn't make a sound, but now it does i think it maybe of the weight i have in the trunk or my big tires. What do you think? Names ralph

Check the brushing under the car the connect the shifted to the tranny spray them with some lube and try it, if the noise is gone replace these bushings

I have a 98 Honda Civic that will turn over but won't start

i had a similar problem.......try changing out the starter...because on mine the starter solenoid was bad...thats what engages the starter...the starter and the solenoid is all one part..
