Question about 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
On a 2000, it should be a serptine belt. One belt for everything. First, look at how belt runs, remember. There also should be a diagram under the hood for refernce. Find the belt tensioner, put wrench on and remove tension while your doing that remove a belt from one pulley. Then slip old belt off all others. Instaliton is reverse of what I just stated. Be sure that the belt is sitting correctly on every pully. There are several small groves on belt that if they are't lined up, will cause a shorter life span of the belt.
