Question about 2003 Audi A4 Cabriolet
Hi, my audi cabriolet's hood is stuck. I started to roll it back, but had to stop mid way and stopped the ignition. now it wont go back in using the power switch. what do u suggest
I'm not sure about that. I'm assuming that you've checked the fuse. There may be a circuit breaker for the top operation as well, and that may have blown (those are under the hood usually, or under the dash on the driver's side). Have you tried cycling the ignition a few times, or maybe a 30 minute disconnect on the battery? That usually puts the car's computers into relearn mode. I'm just throwing out ideas here since I've never dealt with this before, but they're worth trying.

The solutions proposed worked for me. Learning: Always open the hood with the engine running, never stop the engine while the hood is opening/closing. The hood is heavy but can be manoeuvred up and down manually with care, ditto the rear hood cover panel, the red/black T-tool is essential for locking/unlocking back (access hole by removing armrest btw rear seats) and front (access in the front secton of the hood) . Its located with the fusebox, open drivers door and in the side of the binnacle. Finally I disconnected th battery for 30 mins to reset computers, and it worked fine. Thanks again for the good advice!! :-)

This could be a simple overload. Look for a red handled T-key above the fuses . Use this key in a hole at the head of the roof and turn it to lock the roof closed. Similar hole between the rear seats to lock the rear cover closed.
Should reset and work ok , this is in the owners manual.

Had the same thing happen with mine. Just finish opening the top by hand (force it into the box) and close the cover by hand. Then turn the key on and put the top back up. It should recycle and ork fine.
