Catalytic convertor in the exhasut system is restricting flow. This can be checked very simply.Start the vehicle and have a helper rev the engine as much as possible.Walk back to the exhaust pipe, and put your hand close to the pipe.If barely any air is coming out of the tailpipe, the exhaust is severely restricted. If you are not sure exactly how much air SHOULD be coming from the tailpipe,do this procedure on a couple of properly running vehicles to get an idea or a comparison/baseline.Good luck and remember to rate this solution..

As a further diagnostic tool if you DO suspect a restricted convertor, remove the O2 sensors before the cat,and sometimes the engine will run great, and powerful, although loud and setting O2 codes. But at least this process is diagnostic, costs nothing but time, and will determine if the cat is good or bad.

Going down the highway at 55-60 mph I just barely tap the gas and the vehicle jumps, I press the gas hard and it stops, leave off the gas check engine light blinks and jumping continues.

A blinking light usually means exhaust system probably catalic converter. You most likely have a small blockage in it which means exhaust can't get out correctly. Have vehicle scanned at autozone or similar.

Use a ODB-2 meter to read the problem code. That will give you a clue on what to look for next.

It acceleration is bad when going up hill will only let me do 25 mph and makes sounds when i accelerate

What type vehicle, year and model. Sounds like the vehicle is in limp mode. Something is wrong and the computer may be limiting performance so nothing else go wrong. Did she throw a code, check engine light blinking?..

My 1995 dodge ram 1500 will bottom out going up hills. When you accelerate at about 2.5 rpms it drops out and won't gain any power

Your fuel pump is not being supplied with adequate fuel pressure to deliver to your engine on an incline because of an obstruction in the fuel tank that changes from level to inclined. I have seen this on many vehicles over 15 years old mostly from rust, debris, and just plai bad gas. Have the fuel tank removed, cleaned and a new "Fuel Sock" (a sort of filter device made of a wire mesh) installed and the fuel lines blown out from front to rear. This should give you plenty of get up and go no matter what the angle your vehicle is in.

My 1994 BMW 525i e34 came up with the Trans Program warning. Accelerator would not rev the engine!

sounds as if the accelerater cable broke, when you were able to throttle under the hood did you happen to notice if the accelerater cable was moving freely.

From a stand still if you accelerate hard vehicle starts vibra

Well, kind of short on description, issues typical in this complaint are misfiring and U joints.

To emininate the engine, does the vibration happen on power braking, without the vehicle moving?

Would a bad oxygen sensor on a 97 ford taurus prevent acceleration randomly? sometime i stop at a red light then it wont accelerate past 20 or if i am at a constant speed of 55 for a while it will start...

When you start your car the computer needs time to calibrate. That means set a base level for all components. I would recommend that whenever you start your car be sure that the tachometer has dropped below 1 before proceeding. Also it is a good idea to not have any other accessories running while warming up (e.g. radio, blower).
Your computer starts to gather O2 readings after you have driven over 10 mph for 30 seconds. Your O2 sensor is starting to give out and giving your computer wrong voltages, this means that when you press the gas your computer cannot calculate the correct air/fuel ratio. The symptoms you are having are no doubt the cause of the bad O2 sensor, I would recommend you buy one on Ebay ~$45.
