Question about 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Sometimes whemn tring to start our 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, it will act as if the battery is dead and then when you turn off switch the gauges will jump back and forth. After a few times of turning the key ooff and on, it may ,all of a sudden start the car and the gauges will go back to normal.
Please help this is my wife's car, need I say more.
I had a similar problem with my 2004 JGC. try checking for corrosion on the battery terminals. If they are clean with a wire brush. If that doesn't work look for detrioration on the battery cable itself. Unfortunatley for mine it was the battery cable and it required replacement. Expect to shell out a couple of hundred bucks if its the latter.

Coming to your rescue....Check on the earthing cables from the battery and especially from the management computer....Once those have been checked try replacing the engine main relay and go through all the fuses....Let me know if you live happily ever after
