Question about 2004 Dodge Durango
The front a/c blows fabulous cold air, but the vents that are controlled by the rear a/c controller are blowing out hot air. how can this be? Don't they use the same compressor? thanks :)
That is true, however there are doors under the dash that direct the air. it is apparent that at least 1 or 2 of theses doors are stuck or none functional. they are either operated by a cable or servo motor. unfortunately if it is a malfuntion motor that will have to be replaced. if it's a cable it could be that it come off and can be put back on. if it's just a jammed door then you can do this yourself and just fix the jam. these componants are located under the dash. when taking aprt the dash becareful because the are often times plastic pins and clips that can be broken during removal of the dash panel. take your time, chance are you will save your self some money. good luck. please rate this....thanks
