Hi, the engine dies because the car is getting hot ,this is preventing further damage, be sure to check your cooling sistem , check if your fan is coming on at the right time ,keep your fluid levels up, your car also have a temperature swith that goes at the cilinder head ,this swith gets bat with time and can cause overheating problems, this problem does not seems to have nothing to do whith the transmission , good luck

I need a copmlete used Engine for a Mazda proceed cab plus year 1992,2.6l petrol. please help.

When going to purchase a new engine, why don't you make a choice between a used one or a rebuilt engine model, that is an exact fit with your Mazda's engine. As it is mostly used by car owners who have a preference of going in for used car parts. You can take a look to find almost all types of cars or trucks besides marine used engines here at They offer genuine OEM certification and a 1 yr warranty on parts.

1992 mazda 929 3.0 ltr v6 auto has no movement while in any gear.

check the transmission fluid, and shift linkage, if it is full you will need to rebuild the transmission, probably cheaper to replace with a used one.

I have got a mazda 323 its an automatic, every morning when l start it ,the time l shift it into gear it cuts off

check your transmission fluid, you can find this near the engine oil, it should be near by.

when you check leave it running for 60secs before checking and make sure it is on level ground.

good luck

My mazda run high and low when starting

This is simple repair if cleaning it doesnt work replace it but if your unsure and want to get a for sure diagnostic you must go to a shop that can diagnose your problem checkers auto parts usually will run OBDII diagnostic free but not sure about OBDI also you can pick up your own diagnostic scanner at local autoparts store or follow troubleshooting guide in your repair manual.

Need to know what mark to align cam at on 1992 mazda 626. Just replaced timing belt and must have moved the cam in doing so.[2.2 litre engine]

Get one of the repair manuals for your engine from one of the auto parts stores in your area. Most community libraries also have a few books about vehicle repair, and you can copy the pages of the manual that deal with YOUR car/engine.

My Mazda RX8 2004

I will never buy a mazda again. They have bad transmissions and engines. What is worse they use the same parts as Ford. How in the world do you combine a japanese and american parts into one engine? It keeps breaking down, thats what happens. I would ride it out since you are already gettin an engine but if you haven't purchased it, sell it and put that money towards another car, the dealer has used you like a gold digger.
