Drivers side power window stuck

I have a 2000 9.3 with a drivers side window that is stuck. The motor still works but the glass is off track. Is this something that can be fixed without having to take to a shop?

Thanks!
i am replacing the little wheel, but how can i tell when its on the pin itself? because i have felt it "snap" what i think is in place, but it keeps popping out.

Yes, when replacing the small plastic roller, you have to press, hear it snap once, then press harder to have it fully set into place.

Power window slipped off track drivers side freezing temps

if your window has popped out of its track , a neet hack to get it back in is to use a bar of soap !! just rub a generous amount on glass edge and window track and gently wiggle the glass back into track (don't bend glass) use only an old credit card or your "cold" bare fingers to wiggle it back in , metal tools will break the glass 4 sure

leave the soap on windows edge it keeps ice from sticking !!

I think my drivers side power window is off track, after taking door panel off how would I be able to tell, by looking, if the window is indeed off track?

After removing the panel you will be able to see the inner door parts. You can move the glass until both wheels are inside the track.

Drivers side window will not roll up,passenger side works just fine there no clicking sound when you try to raise drivers side, fuses are ok

In certain Ford cars (you didn't say WHICH Ford vehicle you have), the motor that drives the power window has a plastic nut in it that facilitates the movement of the glass. Over time, this plastic nut will wear away and eventually won't turn the regulator (which makes the glass move up and down on its track). You can remove the motor, open up the casing of the motor, put in a metal nut and it will work again. I forgot the size of the nut, but they are common and can be found in a parts store for less than a dollar.

My drivers side window on my 1994 ford Taurus is stuck in the down position. how do i get it to go up and down again? the window motor is working ok. just that the window will not move

If the motor is working but the glass is not moving something must have broke inside the door. See if you can sneak a piece of duct tape down along side the glass, get it down as far as possible. Use a butter knife or something to make the tape stick to the glass, now try pulling the glass up with the tape. You may want run the window motor at the same time maybe it will catch. If you get the window up, tape it with duct tape so you can get it to a shop to get it fixed. Good luck.

Drivers side door will not go up or down; window is off track and door will not open

Hello. You have two choices here on how to proceed. Often when this occurs, it is a sign that the window motor and the track inside that door are on their "last legs" This assembly is called the power window regulator and it can be found on the net for about $75.00 So, you may either put the window back in the track and hope for the best or you may choose to replace the power window motor and the track, which comes as one unit called a driver's side door power window assembly. Either way, you have to remove the inner door panel to expose the track and the motor and the glass.

Drivers side power window stuck

yes,

1. trust youself

2.Open the panel slowly, some screws behind the handle opener, first you start from the bottom of the panel, and check see where has the screw connect to the door metal part and figure it out to open it. As soon as you move the panel, cut the plastic on the metal and check the small plastic wheel see it is in the track, and also check the arm connect to the motor, maybe the arm loss, be sure put a pin to connect the arm and then test it.
3. any this kind job, cost you more than $350.00 -$450.00
Hope this can help.
