The thermostat housing on this particular car is actually on the driver's side block just behind the alternator. The part you're after is the bleeder valve water outlet. This particular part likes to come apart where the factory seem is. Chrysler glues this part together and are know to just come apart or leak. This part is relatively inexpensive even at the dealer. Just remove the 2 attaching bolts and install.

You can get a replacement at minimal cost at auto parts store like Napa or Oreillys. it is called the thermostat cover/housing. if you have broken bolts and there should be 2 of them you will have to remove them with a tool called easy outs. and replace the bolts.

Where is thermstat

Assume you are asking about the thermostat. You can find it by tracing the radiator hose to where it connects on the intake manifold. The piece it connects to is the thermostat housing. The thermostat lives inside that housing.

Where is the radiator hose located on a 2004 Ford Taurus

You have an upper hose, and a lower hose and both are attached to the radiator just in front of the engine and lead to the engine. The upper hose leads to the top of the engine where the thermostat housing is located. The loser hose usually go to the water pump near the middle of the engine.

Good luck.

Where is the thermostat?

On the top of the motor area where the outlet hose from on top of radiator is.
There is a metal neck with two bolts on it ,that the hose attaches to, It's under that tube housing.
You have to remove the hose that attaches to the neck of the unit, then remove the two bolts.

Cant find thermostat on 93 model fuel injection

Your thermostat is located under a metal housing on the top of the engine. The upper radiator hose connects to this housing. To change the thermostat you basically need to drain the radiator after your engine is cold, disconnect the upper radiator hose from the engine, and remove the bolts from the small housing. replace the thermostat, and clean the surfaces on both sides and replace the gasket too. reinstall the housing, attach the hose, and refill the radiator. start the engine, warm it up and check for leaks, then re check the coolant level after the engine cools off again.

How do I remove the thermostat from the 2004 GMC Envoy????

It's actually very simple. Follow the upper radiator hose to the top of the engine block. You will see a housing which the hose is attached to. Remove the hose from the housing. The housing will have 2 or 3 bolts holding it down. Remove the bolts and lift the housing off. The thermostat will be sitting there and you simply need to remove it.
