Remove and replace heater core, pre Mitchell labor guide is 5.9 hrs, does not include recover, evacuate and recharge a/c system, to remove heater core, that should be about another 1.4 hrs, hope this was very helpful.

Ok i change my heater core on my car olds delta 88 1994 but my cooling light come on and off and the passagner floor still wet but it not over heating and the tempture hand stay betweet 200 and the...

1- There is a leak at the 2 hoses connecting to the heater core causing a leak at the passenger floor. 2- The radiator is full because it is clogged up so coolant can not go down from the top, but it has actually low coolant level due to a leak.
Have you replaced the 2 pieces of hoses when you replace the the heater core?

You will need to pull the dash assembly away from the firewall slightly and remove duct work from heater case on right (passenger)side then the heater core cover, the 2 bands that secure heater core, drain cooling system, remove the 2hoses,and swop out old heater core.

85 olds delta 88 blows cold air from heater

If your coolant is full, and the car is not overheating, it's probably not your thermostat, but you might want to make sure. Look on the heater hoses running to the heater core - there should be a solenoid valve in the supply one (I think it's a vacum solenoid). That ****** is probably toast.... I believe it's meant to shut the coolant flow off when the aircon comes on. You can either whack it, replace it, or, if the aircon doesn't work anymore, remove it and put a coupling in there.... if it's not that, then your heater core is probably plugged.

Hope this helps :)
