Hi,I would check the starter motor, check for power on the connections,if there is power take it out and put in a vice or work-mate or something that will hold it in place, then put power from jump leads to see if it spins, all the best.
check starter hot wire. runs to positive post of battery. If just clicking noise check battery posts. lights will still come on if battery has some connection but a starter take a lot of cranking amps. If that dont work try jumping it.
I will give you 2 solutions because I do not know if the "no start" means it cranks and will not fire or if it just does not crank.
For the no crank problem, this would be due to an Interlock switch being broken or out of position and preventing the starter solenoid from getting power from the Keyswitch. The switch often gets broken or knocked out of position when feet hit it. This switch is located under the dash and on the brake pedal lever. Often the brake lights do not work.
For the cranking and no start condition, this is often an Inertia switch that has tripped and cut off fuel pump power. It is located behind one of the front floor kickpanels and just needs the reset button pushed.
I hope one of the solutions works for you. Please rate my info.
sorry turns over means ZERO the crank shaft can spin or not the starter can in fact spin and crankshaft not. and some think turns over means, engine runs. now that fact makes turns over, a dead statement.
the word is cranks over, the engine cranks over robustlyl and then the engine runs. then runs for more that 3 seconds, and the ASD relay holds. (step by step his works like this ,93 to now)
wont crank ? (clear statement in fact) cranks ok, (crank shaft spins fast) can be seen and heard. runs for 3 seconds? and stalls (ASD relay drop out) can be seen. runs for 5min and stalls. (complex) runs for hours and stalls. (even more complex) all are key facts to the solution.
tell more..... tell all it does good bad or ugly for better suggestions!
