This is a hands on diag. If no leaks can be found then the coolant has to be going out the tailpipe. Chances are you have a cracked head or a cracked block. New gasget only temporarily sealed the crack. But then we are just guessing.
You could try e-bay or my suggestion would be a wrecking yard as they can find one that would be a exact replacement based on the ecm serial numbers.otherwise a dealer or autoparts store and they are high priced and still need to be programmed after install.
Yes it can be caused by low quality fuel, and your gas cap not being installed properly. Best bet is the gas cap, so take it off and screw it back on. Then take your vehicle to autozone and hook up diagnostics to clear your MIL.
If you are buying from a dealer have it checked and inspected. If you are buying from a private seller ask to drive it and take it to Advanced Auto or another store and have the free computer check ran on it. If trouble codes pop up you may want to reconsider unless they are easy fix items. I myself had a 1996 Laredo and had minimal maitinence on it with 197k on the vehicle. Hope this helps. Stephen
