go to a radio shack or like store and get a adapter plug to match your new unit , that way you don"t have to cut no wires and its a piece of cake to just plug in this thing will plug in to the dodge plug and the other end plugs in to your new unit

How do you set the clock on a 2001 Dodge Durango?

sebring_cassette_radio_2.jpg If your radio looks like this one, you will need a pen, or any other object with a small tip, like a toothpick, and you use the object to press the little buttons to the right of the clock, next to the tune switch, the one with the H is for hour, and the one with the M sets the minutes

My 2001 durango stereo worked fine on the way home from work. The next morning, neither the clock or the radio would operate and they have not since then. Radio fuse in panel next to drivers door is good.

I have the same problem, after couple days of not driving it the battery went dead. After charging it back up the radio worked again, but then started doing some other freaky things. Any solutions out there?

What buttons do i push to set the clock

Not knowing what radio you have, My 99 has 2 small letters below the tuning dial . Look for little letter "H" & one "M" right under it. Stick a pin or pen in and push to advance the number.

Clock not available

I took the truck back for warranty work and this was the dealer's explanation: This is a known, but rare, glitch in the radio. It is not widespread enough for Dodge to issue a bulletin, but there is a write-up in the computer system that Dodge technicians access that covers this. The "repair" is to disconnect the battery for 5 minutes and/or remove the IOD (Ignition Off Draw fuse(s)). The radio then "resets" itself. If the problem persists, they have to replace a component of the radio system.
