Question about 1999 Jeep Wrangler
I need to change my manual transmission fluid and would like to know if the I have to use the only type that is in the owner manual of if it can be another type
Hello, I have a 1999 Jeep Wrangler with a Manual Transmission. I need to know the procedure for changing the fluid. How much does it hold and what type of fluid should I use. Should I use ATF or 90 Weight?
Pull the lower plug from the transmission, it will be on the bottom or the side on the bottom. replace the plug after draining and remove the fill plug wich is about half way up the side of the transmission. use 75w 90 gear oil in the trans.
