if the check engine light is on check the o2 sensor it wont bump the timing

hi there. can any one pleas hellp me i have a subaru sti there is a proplem in may sti chack engie light shwo up and rpm dosnt go more then 4000 rpm any on have solution

I have a similar problem. Engine light is on and I notices a lack of power by overcoming. I`ve tried to disconect battery and reconect after a half of minute. Result is, no lights again but still a lack of power.
